Buzzing sounds from V7, somewhere below..
« on: June 23, 2021, 05:06:28 PM »
I think I’ve found another, besides sheet metal horn brackets..

Double walled headpipes, w bends aft of the crossover

Tap tapping around w a hammer, made me slip off the muffler, the headpipe altogether

Tapping around the exit at 90 degree spots (red marks in foto) produced the buzz ive been hearing ….(see white noise in foto)

Interior wall has given up somewhere, seems like..2007 model year, sat for 10..

Guzzi markings on the outside w numbers, tap to enlarge

The arse end ..what’s not visible is how different the inside wall bends are to the outside wall

Exhaust valve at 17k miles running 4-7k rpm regular unleaded

“It’s those LaFranconi mufflers that makes me do it, your honor…really, sir, I promise I won’t do it again…”

"I'd like to thank all my friends who have kept my Guzzi's going, but mostly...TOMB."

That's nice...I recently had "A Buzzing Sound" from my brand new, under warranty $185 Seagate external hard drive with over 65,000 of my digital photos on it...     I had to send it back to the Seagate Lab in Oklahoma City to see if they can recover the data...."I Suspect It's Not Good"...but we'll see what happens...(???)   ("Dooooohhhhh!!")
