It takes talent to be hip enough.  Must talk the talk to walk the walk.

Ok, that does it.  Gotta go to MotoGP in Austin in April.
Maybe Mitch will ride over with me.  Gotta get hotel rooms quick though.

Despite Rocker's poking fun of my hipsterism , those who actually know would describe me as the least hip person
on the planet . Of course , being secure in my lack of hip is why they don't threaten me  ;D

I went to the show last year (during Moto GP).  There wasn't much new Guzzi content there.  But there were a couple vintage cafe Guzzis among dozens of others customs and classics.  Wall of Death and Beer Garden.

So who's going to Moto GP?  We should get a Guzzi NAR going on.

I've found couple motels with "normal rates".   Don't be surprised if you check hotels and think that Jerry Jones is running them.  Gouge 'em Horns!

Warning!  Hipster content.  NSFGOM (Not safe for grumpy old men.)

EDIT:  Crap!  Now I really hate having to scuttle my plans to attend MotoGP Austin this year.

Being generally oversensitive to the pretentiously hip - I guess here I'm missing the hipster connection.

I may ride up on the Quota.  I'm pretty sure it was hand built.  Nothing like being the skunk at the garden party.

I like the approach they're using.  Perfect for a small manufacturer- kits to increase sales and branding.  What's wrong with that?
It ain't geared towards the faithful- we already drank the Koolaid.  Wish I was closer

^ I agree. They need to do this. Triumph is walking away with huge sales of modern classics. There is a resurgent café racer movement afoot, along with younger people looking for classic-looking but modern, affordable bikes. This is probably Moto Guzzi's largest market in terms of unit sales, so why not?
