You mean that stuff that is made from the bodily waste products of yeast as they cause other materials to ferment and rot?

That would be Vegemite.   Wouldn't surprise me if things were living in it .... !

"SURRENDER DOROTHY", actually.   Remember that the Witch was doing the skywriting ....

Yes, my wife just confirmed that you have it right.  We both lived within a few miles of that bridge back then.

No, just milk with Weetbix. They are however (a toasted wheat biscuit) made by the same firm that makes MARMITE.  Actually, just had a marmite sandwich, yum.

Lannis, your education is not complete! Vegemite is made by the Kraft corporation and has been proudly made in Australia since 1923, probably out of koala or emu droppings.  However,  MARMITE is a yeast based product made by Sanitarium, an NZ firm which is the corporate arm of the Seventh Day Adventist church. All products made by them are vegetarian.  I am a confirmed carnivore but eat Marmite quite happily. :thumb:

But like Vizzini in the Princess Bride, is the joke that the wearer knows the error on the shirt, so did he know you'd know it was wrong and therefore laugh, or did he know that you would know that he would know and therefore wear it anyway knowing you would laugh ... Or...

small, furry vegetarian critter + yeast + red dye #3 + a pinch of salt + blender = Marmite*, which is a type of metal field kitchen container also used as rat bike panniers (guzzi content).

*marmite, mermite, mormonite, Mennonite, marmot -- all the same thing.

While being aware that the princess bride is a cultural icon , having never seen it , NFI . However , is the guy in the pic aware that his lack of self awareness makes the rest of us aware of his shortage there of

  Dusty

No the joke could be that the dude in the pic is fully aware and that puts the joke on you.

You really should take the time to see The Princess Bride, along with Casablanca and The Bird Cage, it's the top of my list.

One of my favouritres.  The theme song sung by Willie deVille gets turned up whenever I hear it. :thumb:

RK, I think if the 7th Days heard that blended marmots = Marmite they would have a brain explosion.

You're right.  Instead of saying

".  . . .pinch of salt + blender . . ."  I should have written

".  . . .pinch of salt / blender . . ."

That's better.   :thumb:   :food:
