So Gliderjohn’s place the weekend of Nov 4th?

I know we will be roughing it, but I’m assuming there will still be fresh espresso and eggs Benedict for breakfast, right?

I can do fresh ground coffee beans prepared with a French press but yea, no eggs Benedict. I love it but not well done in most of Kansas. I do have an espresso machine that I haven't used in years but this could be a good excuse.

John , you never cease to amaze  I'll cook eggs , and even do an omelet if someone will bring an electric skillet where it can be done in the shop . Just don't want to mess up Ruth's kitchen .

Ruth and I are serious here. If weather allows are we on at my place? Ruth is already talking about cinnamon rolls, apple slab pie and a breakfast casserole. Currently the forecast is for sunny days with low 60s high and 40s night. Just bought a new chain saw so we should be able to throw a fire together.
Prescott, if you make it please bring one of your favorite S&Ws. Maybe can have an old time turkey shoot.

Looking like it is gonna happen John , but tell Ruth there is no need to cater to us . Although her breakfast casserole is wonderful .

We have an electric grille and we can get local free ranged eggs. How about some local Mennonite garlic rope sausage?

Oh my , that sound good . John , pick out a project that needs doing while we are there , it would be fair for us to help out and repay the hospitality . Fubar can do it while we watch , since he is claiming credit for this idea

Lets start getting a headcount. Who all thinks they may try to make it? Currently the forecast is looking pretty good with high temps in the 60s and lows around upper 40s and sunny. Saturday is suppose to have a south wind around 20mph but my garage doors all face north so we can block most of the wind.
Dusty, the only work project needed may be gathering of firewood.

My address is:
3015 NE 96th
Walton, KS 67151     Phones are: Landline is 620-367-3711  Cell is 620-755-3161
I am not far from either I-35 (I-35 through this area is actually I-135) or K-15 and about 35 miles north of Wichita. For those of you coming more or less from the south you want to get on or be on I-35 once you are north of Wichita. Stay on I-35 N as it goes around the east side of Newton, KS I-35 will kind of half loop around the far north end of Newton. You want to look for and take the K-15 exit (North Newton/Abilene). Exit # 34.
At the bottom of the exit will be K-15. You will turn north and take it for six miles to NE 96th (will be marked with a street sign). (If you happen to go by a roadside pull out and a mild set of S- curves you have gone too far, turn around.) At the NE 96th intersection you want to turn east onto a non-paved road. Go three miles by odometer (not by intersections) and you will be very close to my drive. The drive is to the south side and my place sits back about 900 feet but you can make out the tops of the house and garage.
Really, my directions sound much worse than it is. It is quite simple to find. You can also get a look of my place from Google Street View.

I have plenty of parking room for the bluebird. Also have a 220 hookup.
I am guessing Friday on as far as I know but Thursday is fine too as far as I am concerned. Come on down.

Well what are the travel plans then.  Thurs, Fri, and Sat all look fairly decent weather wise.

Dusty, Fubar, John and I had a great get together a couple of months ago. This should be another fun weekend.

Will be looking for you around then FUBAR. Dusty was planning to come today and so far he has not called me to say he is not. The weather is not turning out as nice as forecasted for today. Still cool, cloudy and misting. May have to heat up the whirlpool bath to unfreeze him when he arrives.

Just heard from Dusty. He plans to be here tomorrow afternoon. For anyone else seeing this and wanting to come I will try to attach a Guzzi sweatshirt to the street sigh at Hwy.15 and my road and will also park my old tractor at the end of my drive.
