Benelli 250 2c
« on: July 11, 2018, 08:07:27 AM »
I may be getting one of these in a swap, neat little 2 stroke, the motor has been rebuilt and all the parts are there except for the drum brake front wheel which I have no idea where to find. It is also a 741/2 Electrica, which has some different parts from the standard bike but I'm not sure what. Is there a parts source for these in the US? I know run away as fast as I can but it is rare and neat so that appeals to me.

Detlef Burian in Germany should have parts you need. He has an online site where you pick parts off the factory parts diagrams. Good service and pretty quick shipping.

OMG. Izzat Jim Hamlin on the side car rig?
I'd look for a disc brake frt. end that fit. Regardless. Good luck, Steve. Hope to see it soon.

Awesome bike! I rode a friend's around for a day back in, er, the day.

Mid Ohio (last weekend) was full of 70's two-strokes like that, including a couple of Benellis.   You may want to give the big swap meet a visit next July if you're still hunting parts ....

Sounds like a nice bike.
