A few of my buds left for the FL Keys last Tuesday. Two ways later they were ridding in shorts and T-shirt's. Fast foreward two days later and they left SC. this morning, trying to get home, in temps in the teens and will have to ride all day in sub freezing temps. Sorry but like I told them, ridding for in warm temps for a few hours just ain't worth the trip for me.

I bought a motorbike now it will snow in Pa until april! :violent1:

I hope so!  Then again, I rode my V7 last night.  A bit breezy but after about a week without riding while running my daughter all over the northeast for skiing it was sorely needed.  Thinking of taking it to Philly in the morning for a doctors appointment but with single digit temps overnight I may stick with the Tiger.  It has heated grips and a windshield.

It would be the best fish you ever ate. Trust me. Bring them up, (not much of a fight) throw them on the ice, and they freeze almost instantly. Take them home, put em in the sink and they start swimming around again. Kill em and clean em.
The only better way is a shore lunch out of the fish basket while they are still alive. Oh, man.. Walleyes on the shore.

What makes you believe the snow will stop in April?  Last year the last snow was in May.
This winter the first snow was on 12 Oct. and the winter has had more snow days than before.
I am tired of all the broken contracts from the global warming people.

Going down to 0 tonight, a high of 8 tomorrow.
Blustery too. Anyone with temps near that, please remember your best friends.
Play time short, with warm ups in between.

About the same here tonight, but in the teens tomorrow.   Split up some extra wood and stacked it in the kitchen so I won't have to go out to the shed in the morning.   Jack, being a rough-haired border collie, is equipped for weather like this and it doesn't bother him much, but I suspect he'll be back at the door pretty quick after his 2 AM constitutional in the morning!

Chicago is forecast to reach an actual temperature of minus 26 degrees Wednesday night -- just one degree away from the city's all-time coldest temperature, which was set in 1994.
And soon, freezing temperatures will take over the Northeast.
Oh joy!

It was about 18 degree’s yesterday, snow was lightly coming down as I get the CX started to head back home. I plugged in the Powerlet jacket and gloves and feel some unusual warmth near the electrical connection, then smell that familiar electrical smell and smoke starts coming out from my pants. Needless to say, it was an unexpected cold ride, just glad I didn’t ignite.

This isn’t that old of a jacket, I did strip out the bad wires and will see how it works at a later date. Too cold to ride this morning, even with working electrics.

-6 right now with a -19 wind chill.  Warming up to 16 today, but 2-4" of snow.  On the bright side, it is supposed to be 56 on Sunday!  Since the NFL doesn't pay me to care about football, I'm going for a ride!

-50 here yesterday morning. There is NO work being done, garage or otherwise... aside from snow clearing, and yesterday... even that was put aside. We were having a relatively mild winter (for us) up until a couple weeks ago.

Used waaaaay more firewood this past week than expected. Thought I'd make it to late Feb with what I have in the woodshed... using the last of it tonight.
Old enough to say I've done it, young enough to do it again.
