RIP Edgar.
Damn! Somehow I missed that back in January.
First Ian McLagen, now Edgar Froese.
Two different genres, but I miss them both.
I have been listening to the Small Faces since high school.
Edgar Froese and Tangerine Dream only since college.
Don't get me started on Can.

I feel old and in the way.

The music from Thief hooked me when it came out. Wishbone Ash is another of my faves.

You may be thinking of "Sorcerer", but that one starred Roy Scheider, not James Caan?

TD was quite prolific, film wise. Legend and The Keep come to mind.

I had to Google them to see what you guys were talking about.  Turns out it's a band I've heard many times but never really listened to.
