07 Griso question
« on: February 17, 2018, 08:46:03 PM »
I’ve seen an 07 Griso listed around here, so if it has the flat tappets how big a job is it to rollerize?

If it's a 2007 in the US it'll be an 1100 whic uses the 2V. Motor which is not vulnerable. It's the 2008-2012 1200-8V motors that have the tappet problem.

It will, almost certainly need swingarm bearings and probably a shock linkage at a guess but as long as the throttle bodies haven't been 'Shaved Aped' it should be just about bulletproof.

Thanx for replies.
I’ve seen 2 different versions of the Griso in 2007, the 8v and the 1100.
Is that a split year?

8V Griso's came out in 09 in USA, 1100's in 07. Probably the advertisers are confused w/2V, 4V, 8V labeling.
