Well, I'm headed to ATL to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.
Congrats! Looks like a good deal and sure it will be a fun/decent bike in the end.
What is the stock bar for the CX? SP handlebars, LM clip ons or something else entirely? Congrats Clint!Scott Athens, GA
I had no idea these were such a low production bike.
Congrats, very well bought It's got a lot of nice rare pieces added to it, that seat might be one of the older ones made with higher quality foam, those Bubs are unobtanium. From everything I've read only a total of 353 made and I believe all were shipped to the US market. I can't tell from the from the photos, but it looks like it might have the later round body carbs? If so, some of them came with Nikasil sp? cylinders. Re someone's question about the bars, they came with 35 mm clip ons, but the top triple clamp is cast and threaded so adding more upright bars is easily doable. What I find endearing about that model is that it's like Italian exotica but without the headaches, small valves, lower compression, easy to live with, jmho. Safe travels picking it up, hope the deal and the trip home goes smoothly.
I'm confused by a Guzzi that has the foot controls on wrong sides.....
I was hoping someone here would snatch that thing up. Way to go Cliffrod!Matteo,Can you tell us what fairing you have on your bike and maybe post a picture or two from the front? Thanks
