Loop Gilardoni gaskets
« on: November 19, 2018, 08:25:02 AM »
I'm about to order my Gilardoni kits for my Eldo and need to know if I HAVE to order different head and base gaskets?

You see, when I bought this bike in 2005, in boxes and put it together and on the road I ordered extra gaskets for the eventual day I needed them.
So I have a brand new top end set but its stock, original type.

Is there any way I can use these and save some $$$?       (yes I read the website that says I need oval type but just want to confirm)

thanks!

Ken

You really should buy the new head gaskets with the oval pushrod holes. The base gaskets are the same no matter what cylinders you use.

Just make sure you flip them the correct way or the oil drain back hole will be blocked.
