Hello, I'm new to both this forum and Moto Guzzi ownership. I have owned a Norton Commando, Triumph Bonnevill and Trident (old one), Harley Sportster, Honda Nighthawk and Pacific Coast and a bunch of different dirt bikes when I was younger. I have actually been away from riding for the past 20 years while raising our two kids with my wife. Now the kids are off to College and I am back on two wheels.
I just purchase a 2004 Breva 750 a couple of weeks ago, put about 50 miles on it, then proceeded to dismantle it. I have not gotten into the engine or trans (other than valve covers and oil pan) yet - that is more of a winter project for me (I live in Michigan). I just have always had to know my bikes with first hand information and it appears that I have not outgrown it yet. This is not the bike I had originally intended to get. I was looking for a V7 classic but couldn't waste any more of the summer looking for one in my limited budget and I got the Breva for a fair price, so why not...right?
I realy like v-twins and prefer the 650 to 850 cc range (powerful enough and lighter).
Anyway, Moto Guzzi's seem to fit my personality and the dedicated followers of Guzzi seem to be like minded nutcases who can't seem to leave thier bikes alone. So I am hoping to find a motorcycle community similar to the sailboat cruising community here in the Great Lakes and it appears that Moto Guzzi owners are a similar breed (and not like Harley owners).

Hello!
I purchased my first new motorcycle, and first Moto Guzzi earlier in June - a 2025 V85TT Travel! We have done a little over a thousand miles together, and are looking forward to many thousands more!

Hi folks.
I'm Todd Retterer. I live near Edison, Ohio and am "fifty-twelve", some people refer to that as 62. I've owned motorcycles on and off since I was a teenager. I recently acquired a 2021 V7 Stone & sent my Buell off to its next journey with my son.
I have not owned a Moto-Guzzi before & only know one person that has owned one. They're very uncommon around here, but fortunately we do have a good dealer in Columbus, the Throttle Company.
My main hobby has been collecting (and sometimes riding) vintage and antique snowmobiles. The main brand that I've collected is Boa-Ski, which is why I have the odd username. My wife and I also have a 1919 model T; she enjoys riding in it a whole lot more than on the back of a motorcycle.
I've learned the importance of an on-line community with the old sleds and while owning a Buell, so finding the same thing for the Moto-Guzzi was one of the first things I wanted to do.
