This is indeed a good deal for a running bike, apparently in quite decent condition. Even the seat cover looks like it could be reattached and restored by a competent upholsterer.
The V50II avoids certain issues that trouble other bikes in this early 500cc smallblock series: The original V50 featured chromed cylinders, while the V50II is fitted with Nikasil bores; the V50II is fitted with low-maintenance Bosch electronic ignition, while the successor model V50III reverted to problematic points ignition in a cost-cutting move by the factory.
