Recently had my 2009 Norge (2V) serviced (TPS set, throttle sync, etc.) and had the evap canister removed.Bike runs stronger but a bit "jerky" on the throttle and some "pops".Curious if a Beetle map would make a difference? Bike has a Staintune exhaustHas anyone removed the canister on a 2V Norge and is running a Beetle map? If so, can you share your experience?
Keep in mind that all the work you had done has likely sharpened response of the motor, and you may just need to re-adust to the new normal for throttle inputs.
So I flashed the Beetle map last night. WOOOOW!! Honestly this is the best $100 I think I have spent on a bike.
So I flashed the Beetle map last night. WOOOOW!! Honestly this is the best $100 I think I have spent on a bike. Like others have said, cracks perfect off idle, no jerkiness in acceleration and no pop on de-accelerationBest my 2009 Norge has ever ran
I also have a Staintune that pops a bit on decel. I've been living with it cuz it's tolerable. But you guys are really convincing. I guess I will learn how to do this mapping stuff.I'm guessing $100 is just for cables? I see the map file is online.
Thanks, y'all. I was confused. I thought the software contained the map because it's specific for each ECU.I'll contact Mark.
