Seen at UK Guzzi Festival
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:37:08 AM »
Last weekend I attended the MGCGB Guzzi Festival. It was a very wet and windy weekend but was well attended. My favourite bike was this 1924/5 Guzzi Sport (500cc)

Apparently it was walled up in a building in Czechoslovakia so the Germans couldn't get at it and only rediscovered recently. It was removed and taken in pieces to a specialist in Italy who reassembled it. It runs well and apparently can easily travel at 60mph. It has a 3-speed hand-change 'box and no front brake. The two shoes on the rear brake appear to be operated separately - one by the hand lever and the other by the heel foot-brake.
1972 V7Sport. Owned by me since 1978.
1972 V7 700cc ex Vigili del Fuoco?
1954 BSA M33

I would give my right arm my V7 Sport or any other bike in my stable for that.
