They must have changed the caterers in honour of it being the last Fordingbridge event, we certainly didn't get that menu last time! Good on them. Sorry to be missing it.

Here in Oz, at the Spaghetti Rally the fare is (surprise, surprise), spag bol - home-cooked, very good; at the Ragged Fringe, it's pizza; and the Ruptured Budgie has the local Lions Club on tap providing the food. I reckon we do more than OK, but it may be a while until we aspire to an on-site wood-fired croissant oven!

Not for nothing... But the few times I ventured up to the MA Guzzi rally they hosted a Friday night pot luck that would at least rival that Eu fare.

Everyone brought something for the grille... Sausages and other meats, plus there were breads and cheeses, and a soup from the rally organizers, and wines, bottles and bottles of wines!

Yup, excellent food always worth the long ride north!

The catered Italian meals were good at the National Rally in NH.  There was an open soda fountain too.

I live in Europe now, and the breakfast's are a bummer. Some salami and ham, thinly sliced, rolls, butter,  tomatoes and marmalade. Bah! I want bacon, eggs, toast, sausage links and whatever else I can find!!

I guess that is why the Guzzi rider breakfast in Phoenix is at Denny's and why I usedto weigh 270#s!

Hey, don't forget the hot dogs steamed over a bed of onions.  Holy Smokes, that was good.

I think the continental types could come over here and learn thing are two about vittles.

Looking forward to it.  By the way, the freshly cooked herring at the recent MN Rally in Grand Marais was a real treat.

When I'm at a rally, I eat what they have, and enjoy it.

But IF I want a more substantial breakfast (for example), why, that's not a problem.   A short shopping trip, the little Triox stove, and ....

Peppers, onion, mushrooms, eggs, cheese, and bacon .... Breakfast fit for a National ....

At least they didn't serve the emetic  @^&$ steel cut oats at the national. Man, we have some tuff riders that can stomach that.
