I would remove the cover, cut down the foam with a carving knife to desired shape, and have it recovered.

It looks good on your bike... :thumb: - but I think a stock-type seat would look better on that 850-T (...just MHO)

From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉

After fixing the electrical issues, a brisk, 57+ mile shakedown ride this morning on the 850-T, and it ran just fine! :thumb:

That seat just makes it look slow. It hurts my eyes to look at it.

Guess I missed that discussion: Just HOW did he win it, in a $10 raffle? and what condition WAS it in?

Rally fee was $50 for the weekend, including camping and meals...his ticket was 1 of 89 drawn...better odds than the lottery.  They give a bike away every year!!  :thumb:    It is a "BITSA Guzzi", (rebuilt and bored out to 1000cc), build by Matt and Stephan of ALBQ in good running condition.  Cool little bike!!  A few other photos from last August.  He intends to RIDE IT to Datil this year!! :thumb:
