Post by: Dave Swanson on March 15, 2021, 08:14:53 AM: What an amazing journey this company has had! One of the special aspects among many that endear me to Moto Guzzi is that they are still building all of their bikes in the same buildings as when they started out.

To know that the same factory building where my 1935 GTS was built is the same space that the 2021s are being built it not just rare, but is unique in all of the motorcycle world. I love the fact that family members of the old bikes are now building the new. A wonderful company rich in heritage like no other in the world.

Moto Guzzi was asking/answering questions on their Instagram 'Stories' and one of the questions is "what kind of bike would you like us to make?".. the respondent said "something similar to the GRiSO" and in response, MG posted this pic with the little blurred out green bike circled. They did type a response as well, but it was all in italian, so this is my best guess on the back-and-forth as someone who speaks no italian, but can read a bit from proficency with the other romance languages. I will see if I can capture the posts and put them here.

Funny you mention that, Dave! :laugh: :grin: :wink: :rolleyes: :shocked: :huh: This morning, I just wrote a BIG FAT check to the IRS and the AZ Department of Revenue for 2020 taxes...and that amount far exceeded the cost of a new 100th Anniversary Guzzi (** SIGH **)

Oh well...servicing my poor ol' 23-year old Centauro this week for the 2021 riding season... * Replacing the cam belts / Oil / filter change / Rear drive fluid change * Sometimes, one just has to be grateful for what they already have... :wink:

It is obvious in these videos that so many are proud and enjoy the tradition and history of these wonderful motorcycles. I have been riding them since 1987 and with substantial help from this board they are still running fine (as far as I can tell). My Ambassador is now 50 years old and I am thankful for all of the help, advice and friendship.
