Best of luck, man!
Hang in there . My better half got into a acident a few weeks ago a delivery truck broadsided her car and did damage to knee and neck so i dont think she'll ever swing a leg over the griso . So im investigating getting a Vanderhall carmel after all settles down it still puts wind in the hair . Hope you find what works
cool looking. https://vanderhallusa.com/models/
Best of luck with your surgery. Any bike when stopped will require :thumb:more than 10 lbs of force to keep it upright should it start to lean. Forget center stands, and even getting it off a side stand will take more force than you said would be your max.Think seriously about the Vanderhall, and iirc, Iron Pony in Columbus, OH had another brand of similar vehicles. There are also 3 wheelers - Canam - and the Slingshot.
Six years ago, I had to sell my two Stone Touring hydros, arguably the best bikes I ever owned in 65 years of riding (then) as I was 79 and weighed only 134#. Just felt overwhelmed by them. I downsized to smaller bikes including my '04 Breva 750 and so far I'm feeling up to that size bike. If a smaller bike will keep you riding and competently so, go for it with my best wishes.Ralph
Time to scale down if your heath issues continue. One reason I never sold my beloved sidecar rig. Haven't made the rally yet, wife had surgery Tues and I have to wait on her PLUS an impacted tooth. May still go on sidecar, but all the riders up my ass going up & down mtn is a real pain.
Bob, Have you considered triking your Goldwing? I have a 2008 GL 1800 Champion trike conversion, and its very easy to ride. You never have to worry about holding it up. Perfect for two up riding. In my case, the only way I can go 2 up.Rick.
Which other smaller bikes other than the Breva 750 do you like/own if i could ask? Thanks
