1400 "gearbox" woes
« on: April 19, 2021, 08:29:58 PM »
All, I have a 2014 1400 touring. 29K on the clock. Has never been a problem. I serviced the bike. Had new tires installed etc. Gearbox prior to service functioned as normal. Put in fresh 85-90 gear oil as required, 430 ml as I always have. Now for some reason shifting is rough mushy. 1st, 2nd okay wont shift to third wont go any further feels like I shifting to nothing like its not moving, feels the same way trying to downshift, mush. No grinding, no noises. Anyone had this type of problem and what was the outcome etc? Thanks BK.
