What Sheepdog said. That's what I wear. ;-T Not cheap but they last. :BEER:Matt
I bought 6 pairs of these after polling all the old soldiers I could-I was in the desert for 3 years and cotton socks disintegrate after about a month. A year later I bought a dozen more pairs. They're expensive, but now after 3 in the desert and 5 years at home, not a single sock has worn a hole it in. They are cool in the heat, warm in the cold, don't stink easily and never rub blisters. Simply amazing. https://www.thorlo.com/
The Kiwis make a wool/possum blend sock -perfect for winter. In summer, you can't beat bamboo socks for softness and odour eating!
this place will send you a pair of thier high dollar socks for the cost of shipping
They got possums? ;-T WOW! I always possums were just in SC and a primary source of protein. ::) ~; :BEER:Matt
GJ:I talked at length with Susan at Thorlo. I decided to try their "Uniform Support" sock. It's supposed to be like the military (?) sock. I may just buy a few dress western socks too. I'm interested what you think of your pair, what style are they? Spuddy
The Thorlo socks look to be worth a try, especially if it only entails the cost of shipping, but which type for motorcycle boots? I want something that goes over the calf, and all of the versions on their web site look to be ankle socks.
