"The cheetah runs no more than 500 m (1,640 ft) at the speed of 80 to 112 km/h (50 to 70 mph); it very rarely runs at this high speed as most chases are within 100 m (330 ft)"

In a long race, I'd go with the Daytona.

1968 Norton Fastback
1976 Lemans
1981 CX-100
1993 1000S
1997 Daytona RS
2007 Red Norge

Dusty's question was: Which is quicker in zero to sixty testing , a Guzzi Daytona or a Cheetah ? Once again , no peeking

Not a long race, and if he was chasing you, it would be a VERY short race  :shocked:

On page two of a fantasy question, I'm allowed to change the question. And I don't think a cheetah would be chasing me on a Daytona with Staintunes unless I had an antelope strapped to my back.

Just to be clear:
I no longer can outrun anything, on or off a motorcycle.
If it's my Daytona Mr. Roper is referring to: A preemptive strike was struck through the aid of G. Caruso @ 22K miles. My shorts remain clean, thank you. The nearest I've gotten to Cats' is a few of those big, hammering yellow things twisting a Q box. R3~

I'm pretty sure my Daytona can out run her:

1968 Norton Fastback
1976 Lemans
1981 CX-100
1993 1000S
1997 Daytona RS
2007 Red Norge

 ^^^ Yes , a beautiful car , but the four legged version is quicker to 60 MPH , by quite a bit at that.

Nothing made by man can match the beauty that nature provides.

New question.  Which is faster from zero to sixty?

A Guzzi Daytona?  A cheetah on benezedrine?  Or an arthritic 3-toed sloth falling out of a tall Cecropia tree?    (Assume the relative humidity exceeds 80%)
Accentuate the positive;
Eliminate the negative;
Latch on to the affirmative;
Don't mess with Mister In-Between.

 Natural wild cats from bobcats to tigers are magnificent  unique beasts representing the most skilled stalking predators as a group..They are being pushed in extinction by human expansion...when they are gone and only seen in captive in zoos, we will have suffered a great loss....I am always impressed watching our male house cat stalk and kill squirrels using the same techniques as the large cats..And he does eat his kills...
