Title: 07 Norge oil pressure switch torque
Post by: drdwb on March 31, 2023, 01:10:10 PM
Replacing oil pressure switch on my O7 Norge, old one out, got new one in, but can’t find torque value any where, not that I’d be able to get any torque wrench I have in there, but just wondering before I strip it out how tight should it be? Also since I haven’t tightened it yet,  is it recommended to put Teflon tape or anything around the threads, I didn’t and it would be a bitch to take it out and get it back in but since I’m doing it, what’s the consensus?I’ll have a beer and change the oil while I wait for an answer. Thanks

I’ve done 2 on my ‘07 and I just nip it up by feel. I have never used tape or sealant.
Never been an issue.

There should be a crush washer on it, snug till pressed on tight, bout like a spark plug.
