Did it!
« on: July 07, 2015, 07:27:48 PM »
Dealer called this morning with news they received the new 2013 white V7 stone.  Took me an hour to get there and buy it.  Wow... The white looks soooo much better in person than online!   Really excited but will take it slow.

My daughter visits tomorrow and will so jazzed...

I thought that might have been you on the Vespa forum with the Vespa or Guzzi thread.  IMO, you made the right decision.  If all you'd ever do is ride the surface streets of San Diego, the Vespa would have been a good choice but from your other thread on Wild Guzzi, it sounds like you want to do much more.  The Guzzi is far superior to the Vespa for your planned usage.
Congratulations!
NO longer can ride

Yeah, I've been on the Modern Vespa forum nearly 10 years... Though I sold my vespa 6 years ago... Great group of people, interesting and friendly crowd.

Well done! All you have to do now, is loosen it up. You've already booked in it's first service? That's only a couple of days if you take it easy. You really won't want to get off it much. These bikes have that affect on you.
