Piston Identification query

This picture was posted on a local Facebook group. The question was asked,

what is this piston from?

Looks like possibly 850 - 949 regular run of the mill Guzzi.  DonG

750 with the 4 rings, I would say.

Crown with flat plateau and 4 rings makes it an 850 piston. 750 pistons had a domed crown. None of the 949 pistons had 4 rings. I've seen Eldo and 850-T pistons like that, could be either.

The Facebook post identifies it as coming from an 850 Lemans. Did any Lemans have 4 ring Pistons?
I suspect it may be a Lemans with a T3 engine or worse still for the owner a dressed up T3. It has square slide carbs on spigot mounts.
Still a great bike though.

Here is a picture of the "Lemans". You tell me what you see.
I don't want to upset the owner because it all could be a mix and match of parts in true Guzzi style.
Still a bike to enjoy.

Square slide VHB carbs that still could be CX100?
I think it is a bitsa. Still a great bike though.
