Go to Thailand they said, great Adventure there they said.............   A bit too much if you ask me ;-)   And I thought an Elk charge was scary. Can't imagine this.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4pnQ3zBU9M&fbclid=IwAR2_BoeoK0_m9m3sd4kShuhwrH3E60MT_EjEP0Y7UKlgbVGr-YWKo5BxBhg

"Real" adventure riding?

So getting chased and possibly eaten by a large cat qualifies.

How about a charging rhino?    Or riding the rim of a volcano?  Or riding a Patagonian beach and seeing if a killer whale will come up onto the beach and eat you?

The possibilities are endless.   Bragging rights will be infinite .....

If this happened to me, I'd have to buy a new saddle, because I'd never get the smell out of the old one.

All in a day's work: "... while talking to Hindustan Times a moderator from FAWPS said that the people riding the bike were Forest Department officials. They went to patrol the area upon receiving information about a tiger sighting."*

I bet they weren't too worried. We have all figured out that dogs can't run any faster than, say, 25 mph, so we don't panic when we're chased; we just maintain enough speed. If these were Forest Department officials looking for tigers they must know how fast tigers can run: 30-40 mph, says a search. So hold 45 mph and shoot some video!

Good thing those tigers don't get schoolled in math. If they understood angle of approach in conjunction with time and distance, it could have been a lot worse.

I ran over my wife's cat years ago. I was very upset, cause it took half a tank of gas. Bad joke, didn't really happen.

The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Considering that that tiger doesn't get his next meal until he understands angle of approach, relative velocity, and arc distances versus straight lines ... I expect he understands that math better than we do!!   :thumb:

He was probably just saying "Gerrout of it!".   And it worked, too.

Hungry or not, most young cats will chase anything that runs. Older cats save their energy.

I had a 400 lb bear attack my dirt bike in northern Idaho many years ago.  And he caught me too.  As he lunged into the front wheel my right foot was between my
engine and his head.  This knocked him ass over teakettle and my bike sideways.  I down shifted and roosted away while looking over my shoulder as he got to his
feet and ran up the mountain.  Next day I stopped at a bar where I say the game wardens truck parked.  Over a beer I told him about it and he said that bears and cougars are stimulated to chase by the whir of the spokes.  You and I can't hear it but they can.  It is why so many mountain bikers get attacked by cougars.
It may be the same for the tiger.  BTW, my foot was black and blue from the ankle down but not broken.
