Title: Southwest Pennsylvania bike meet. Second Saturday

It's always the Second Saturday of the month.

Our little bike meet at the Rising Creek Bakery in Mt. Morris, PA. Casual with only one rule- no jagoffs. A variety of folks and bikes show up, from a 1938 Harley to latest generation Multistrada. We honestly do not care what you ride, just show up have a cup of coffee and a doughnut and shoot the breeze.

Kind of amazing really considering the fairly large amount of jagoffs in the biker population on the whole but our meet has been described as "Old farts on Triumphs" by a young guy who wasn't good at bike ID but wasn't too bad at describing people.

This Saturday from 10:00 am to Noon.
At Rising Creek Bakery in Mt. Morris, PA. We aren't affiliated with the bakery, they are just nice enough to let us have our little monthly meet up there. In the lower parking lot.
Just a bunch of folks on a variety of machines. Euro bikes. Scooters. Adventure and dual sport bikes. Commuters. Japanese, Euro, etc. Harleys too.
Beginners and advanced riders welcome. Family friendly.
Just a chance to BS with other riders.
Coffee and conversation. Nothing too organized. The bakery:

Cookie- looks like 58F at 10:00 am warming up to 68F at noon so I'm thinking we might have a small crowd. At least the rain looks like it's going to hold off. I might have to go play the Tag game after the meet.

And you have the gift of being equally annoying no matter what you ride, so you can even bring the Honda. :)

They ship out salt rising bread. If you've never had it, it's a real Appalachian treat. No, it's not laden with salt, it was traditionally kept in the cellar where salt was stored to rise. Great stuff but you really should eat it toasted or grilled. Personally, I'd never heard of it before but I buy a loaf a week now. Got to have it. It freezes well, too. If you decide to order some, tell them that you're with the bike group. Hillary, the owner, could use a hand and she'd be happy to know that we're rooting for her.

I was born and raised in SW Pa. Wish I were closer, I'd love to join your meet! Sounds like a grand time! You ever have to explain the words "Yinz" and "Jagoff" to any outsiders yet? ;-)

Last month, a fellow new to the area showed up. Very nice fella despite riding a Beemer. Hearing him try to pronounce Monongahela was. . . interesting. The Bakery is in PA but about 1/4 mile north of Monongalia county in West Virginia. I don't think he believed me when I told him that. :)

At Rising Creek Bakery in Mt. Morris, PA. We aren't affiliated with the bakery, they are just nice enough to let us meet up there.

Just a bunch of folks on a variety of machines. Euro bikes. Scooters. Adventure and dual sport bikes. Commuters. Japanese, Euro, etc. Harleys, Indians, and Victorys are great, too.
Everybody welcome. Family friendly. Only one rule- no jagoffs. :)
