Title: Daisy's Diaries
Post by: Testarossa on November 27, 2020, 05:10:16 PM
Reading Daisy's Diaries, the three-volume adventures of Graham Ham on his 1948 Speed Twin. Great fun. In "Are We having Fun Yet?", the third volume, Lannis and Fay make a cameo appearance at a BSA rally over there.

We've had a lot of fun with Graham and his family and friends over the years ... rallied with them in England multiple times, they and about 25 others came to my place and we had a rally here (that made one of the books too), just a lot of good memories and a lot of miles on old Brit motorcycles .... !

Reading the books made me think about taking my TR6R to a rally next summer.  Maybe the Britbike Fort Collins ride in late June -- my daughter is in FoCo.

The British Motorcycle Club of Colorado seems pretty organized, with dues and meetings and stuff. Way more involved than just going to a NAR.
