We're goin' to Bonnie Doon............... We're goin' to Bonnie Doon............We're goin' to Bonnie Doon............... We're goin' to Bonnie Doon...............
How's the serenity?

Will be passing thru myself around about that time en route from Qld to the Spirit of Tas. (Port Melbourne), but unfortunately with my (new) bike strapped to the back 'o the ol' RTV Uterus.  I don't think that'll really cut it as legitimately bikin' it to the rally, does it?  I suspect I'd be laughed out of the rally site!  So I unfortunately can't attend.

Couldn't even ride it even if I took it off the Chook-Tin ute either:  unreg Nuda.  My third I confess.  This is becoming something of an obsession I fear.  That boy needs therapy!  I'm nevertheless unrepentant.  Even the shortest of rides on Varese's finest will leave one hopelessly addicted for life.  A ride so fine, so pleasing, so rare, so refined & so rewarding in fact, that they passed a law preventing the poor 'ol "Seppoes" from ever mounting one between their sweaty thighs .

Not going. When these pesky kids of mine are a bit older I'm hoping to have the time to do all the Guzzi gatherings.

Do you think we spend 2 to 3 days riding all those atrocious roads through boring scenery (over the Snowies & beside the Murray River) just to meet up with a bunch of Mexicans? No, it's for the sauce on the (Guzzi brand) fettuccine. Thank you, and Paul's Mum & all the other kitchen slaves - the more fun you had, the better it's going to taste. It's been maturing nicely - looking forward to it.

Oh, I don't know about that. Pierre will likely have his V7 Sport there, Steve will possibly ride his V700, there will doubtless be a few more loops, and then there's those local Neovo Falcones, all mature technologies. For less mature, Mick will be there on the Mille, John's picking up his Lemon near Sydney & riding back to Tassie via the Spag. Wal should be bringing a few bottles of Stones, as usual. But the grass should be green (& hopefully cut) and water in the river would be a bonus. Not saying anything about the antics of attendees. Surprise us.

John? Just how many Johns are there? - a really uncommon name - I referred to John Murray, now from Launceston. But there's bound to be a few other johns as well.

Nah, none of them.
I meant Kingston just south of Hobart.

Wednesday night at Tailem Bend on the last leg of an interstate trip in the Kenworth.
Staying awake getting revved up at the thought of trading 34 wheels for two. Looking forward to the Spaghetti rally. The V85 will be ready for me next week, but I would certainly have still taken the Norge, even if I had it now... :clock:

Shot from yesterday en route

Got away with that looming cloud but not so lucky coming home today, rained most of 250 miles, win some and lose some but better riding in rain than standing around in it, hope it stopped for everyone else.

That lovely V7..? Is as pretty as a picture with some tasteful mods.

Process of elimination
No V7’s there, 3 derivatives of Tonti’s masterpieces, V7 Sport and 850T, but none actual. Only one is Tonti complete without Carcano engine, that’s mine.
But, 3 of us left before you got there
Leaves Robbo and S3

Marc is answer, staunch Guzzisti, for a while.

A great time had by all. Again. And this time they were struggling to find a recipient for the hard luck award. I did take photos of some of the small blocks, tho' I missed Martin's and a white V7C I caught coming in - I'll see if I can't post them.

Sorry about the Lav - but it snuck in.

You should never have to apologise for photographing a Laverda.  Beautiful.
