Looks like our friends in south-central/east to get some real cold weather tomorrow. Watch out for the wind, and there are several issues beyond frostbite at play. Just breathing air this cold while doing mild exercise can cause lung and heart problems even in healthy individuals. Stay warm!

When it gets very cold in areas not used to it is when many homeless persons are most at risk. An extra blanket to a shelter, or even a decaf coffee to a homeless person could help. Or look to see (or ask me) if there's a Health Care for the Homeless clinic in your area. PSA over, sorry to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming.
