Not since the custom 14 purchase in fall of 2013, but I am anxiously awaiting a next gen Griso , perhaps a liquid cooled , 150 h.p. R Nine T killer. I would place a down payment today. What are the chances Piagio?
My view only, but if Ducati had that 400 Scrambler or If MG had a 500 at the time I bought I probably would have gone in that direction for my purposes. I am however very happy going with the V7............I don't have the exact but it "must" be 100 pounds lighter?
The Ducati 400 Scrambler is no lighter than the 800. That is a fail in my book, at least for the US market. I'd only want the 400 if it was 325 lbs or less. I can only assume that they built the 400, primarily for tiered license markets.
Well, I *would* have bought a V9 LeMans..
Is the 400 even COMING to the US?I assumed it was for Japan and tiered license markets only.
I thought seriously about the Audace. Rode the V7R into MPH right after they received their first one. A guy beat me to it, and bought it before I had a viewing/test ride. Might have bought the Audace if it was not gone. Not sure if geometry and weight would have been acceptable anyway. Gave up on the idea of a new Moto Guzzi after MPH let go the franchise. Without local dealer warranty support: not happening. Not sure if we will see the new models in Houston. We will see if another dealer picks up the franchise. That could happen in a city of over 4 million. Then again, the price of oil is now $37 and 2016 looks to be gut wrenching for the local oil industry. The more thriving medical/construction/finance professionals need to step up and buy more motorcycles. The more I look at the new Triumph Bonnie T120, the more I like it. Waiting to see one at the dealer. Still think if I add a third bike it will be a light cruiser style.
Pick one:(1) Slim(2) None
The kids that work for me are all into some little 125cc Honda and small round town bikes.
