And THAT was one of the quicker thread drifts. :thumb:

Will bookmark in my "Recipies" section. :thumb:

To return, I find that since I have "retired" I am on a lot more. Come in from the garage, have a cuppa and a Guzzi fix before going back out. Learn everything from relays  :bike-037:  to quantum theory :clock:  to omelettes :food:  in very quick succession.  :thumb:

So, what's not to like?

Dear leader follows that with:
"Can we get sparkling water in North Korea?"

That's why they are building nuclear reactors in the North, to produce sparkling water; unfortunately their original translator confused glowing and sparkling. :weiner:

The acronym for Son of Illustrious Leader is, I think, silly.

Well you see, language is important. Cut rate translators are not worthy.
Aha! Silly it is.

Dusty:  I just finished my usual supper; organic rolled oats, almond milk and a bit of banana and some unsalted peanuts for protein, followed by a whole wheat bagel and tea.  Then, I read you darned omelette recipe and I'm hungry again.  Have you no pity?

Apologies Ralph , that omelette only gets made maybe once a month in my house  The sauteed tomatoes and a bit of cheese are a staple however , often served with pinto beans and cucumbers . Dang , now I'm hungry

Dusty's heart attack omelot .

 3 eggs , add 2 oz milk , whisk until smooth .
6 OZS ripe tomatoes , diced , sauteed in olive oil and just a bit of garlic
2 OZS grated sharp cheddar cheese
 2 OZS grated Swiss cheese

Onions , green olives , or whatever else blows up your dress .

Left just a bit soft .

 Dusty

Wait wait wait wait?

What's "heart attack" about that, 4 sticking ounces of cheese?

Last study I saw did that cholesterol itself isn't the issue, but the TYPE/SOURCE of the cholesterol.

Egg yolks are fine.

Bacon, sausage, etc., not so much.

So to live up to the hype in the name you've got to add some (and in my estimation it should at least double the cheese, which should be increased too)...

Ok, you inspired me.

Kids were up and Jenn was still sleeping so I cooked her a v- breakfast.

My signature french toast:

Thick cut bread (preferably 3-cheese semolina)
Saturated in egg
Coated with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar
Pan fried in butter

A half pound of thick cut Maple Bacon

A Spanish omelette:

Half dozen eggs
3 bulbs of fresh garlic diced
1/2 red pepper chopped
1/2 wedge of Manchego Cheese grated
Smoked paprika, salt, and pepper
Topped with fresh sliced aback Avocado and Goya Pico de Gallo

just sautee the Garlic and Pepper to taste in olive oil before adding egg and prepare as usual.

Resisted the urge crack open the Schnapps for the coffee.

Already posted these over there on How Was Your Day thread but what the heck, since we're now delving into breakfast treats.  Morning butter berry scones I whipped up earlier today.  Oh boy.

Heavy-water is what we believe the coded sub-text to be.... And eggs? Dear Leader, we all know what they mean by that!

My sources say they tried an uncooked egg in a potato gun . The results were not encouraging .

I don't want to get accused of thread poaching so I'll just add, the yokes are already getting pretty thick elsewhere and the more hard boiled motorcyclists are likely to riot soon.
