Carry on Luggage Bike?
« on: August 25, 2019, 05:18:08 PM »
I wish I could get this up to Canada for an affordable cost, wonder if I could fit into a big suitcase and check it in as luggage?

Do a fly and ride, but you'll have to retire first.

It will fit in the trunk of a large sedan or any old suv, toss a blanket over it and look normal when crossing the boarder.

100% you could disassemble that thing enough to fit it in a bike box or a hardshell travel case

Make sure that it's on the Registrar of Imported Vehicles List of Admissible Vehicles before you try.

If it older than 10(?) years then it doesn't matter if it is homogulated (sp) and once it passes the stolen vehicle/outstanding lien search you are good to go.

Can't check in because it has a gasoline engine.  For the question at hand.  Box and ship Greyhound or Trailways.  You could ride also.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉
