Kev, have not seen it in the flesh although as I mentioned on a different thread currently on the front page of WG a friend of mine is considering trading his V7 for one. If he does that I may have to ride the V7R to south western Wyoming and meet up to take a look at it. Two Guzzi's together in that part of the country constitute a legitimate rally.   :bike-037: :bike-037:

Have you seen one in person? It's a stunner and appears to be a step above my V7 Stone in quality (fenders, exhaust, side covers, etc.).

Everything you said is the exact reason why I do want to trade my Stone in for a Stornello...

The only thing stopping me is my wife...lol...don't want to piss her off or I get no bike :P

The way they do the exhaust is just truly stunning...

I love my Stone, and despite what I said and think about the Stornello I don't think I'd do that personally because as much as I think the Stornello is gorgeous I prefer my Stone wheels and want my luggage that the excellent Stornello exhaust would prevent.

But I get it...I really do.

Ya I know what you mean...

I have been holding off on the luggage & some mods I want to do on my stone because I keep on contemplating do I want to trade my stone in.

Don't get me wrong, I love her to pieces, and she had took me to places...

But overall man, love the write up by 2 two regarding to the trip...that is how a motorcycle should be used for :)

Great looking Road King Kev.  A local friend recently brought home the ElectraGlide Police version.  I really liked the police seat.  I think his may have a 110 cubic inch engine.

BTW, how tall are you?

Thanks. I have a 32" inseam also. So I would have to stand up out of the seat to push/paddle the bike.

Just ever so slightly, but yes.

I should say the seat narrows greatly at the front (possibly for this purpose) so you sorta just come forward slightly with your butt mostly off it.

Of course I could always put any other touring seat on it, but the ergos are otherwise so nice I doubt I will.

You can't see it in the first pic because my foot was on the shifter ready to Snick it into neutral, but when rolling down the highway I can place my feet on the back edge of the boards and they are directly under my knees and ALMOST under the front of the seat.
