Stelvio rear wheel assy
« on: November 20, 2017, 10:23:32 PM »
Anyone know if a 2015 griso rear wheel and tire will fit a 2015 Stelvio rear?

It will, but tyre choice will be limited as its a wider rim. If you want alloy wheels why not just buy a set of the factory wheels? Correct sizes and remarkably cheap, about $500 the pair from TLM.

Thx for that Pete............ thought a guy might be able to get a little more mileage out of the wider rubber.
My Norge will out run the Stelvios rear rubber in stock format any time any where.

Stelvio has an ABS ring mounted.  Will that attach to the Griso wheel Pete?

I changed to cast wheels but can't remember if the disc and ABS ring share the same mounting points.

The brake swaps, ipso-facto the ring will fit. After all it's the same wheels fitted to Brevas, Sports and Norges.....

I just had a look at my rear spoked wheel. The ABS ring is mounted to a separate set of holes. If the wheel on the Griso has those holes then the conversion should be easy. But I recall reading somewhere that somebody had to drill and tap those holes to make it work.
Anyway, worth checking.

Hi all thx for the responses.
I would like to use a spoked wheel for the rear and because I'm on this side of the pond not sure if there are any differences?
Anyway I know the earlier version of the stelvio with spokes had a wider rear........... maybe that's the way to go( probably a little harder to find is all )

Thoughts
