Christmas wish list
« on: December 01, 2022, 10:05:55 PM »
Is it too early to list Christmas wants?

I would love a Christmas Day with a quiet snowfall of about four inches. A long breakfast with our kids.  Opening a few presents. A few phone calls or visits with cousins and old friends.  A slow run in the woods. A nap in front of the fire with the dog. A glass of rye with a drop or two of water.

Sounds like a perfect day, Ben!  :thumb:

A few years ago in Maine, we had an unusually warm day on Christmas, and there was no
salt on the roads. I rode a big loop down through Camden and Rockland and home in the
setting sun. I must have seen a dozen other bikes - all waving enthusiastically to each other!
For the first  - and maybe only - time in my life, I rode through downtown Camden on Route 1
without stopping! I wouldn't mind that ride again on Christmas this year!
