John and team...thanks for a great rally.  The 3 of us made it back to Indy incident free for the most part.  You all made it a very good weekend.  Thanks from the 3 guys from Indy.

Good to hear you had a safe journey home.  Too bad you missed the 1/2 lb of herring on a long bun!

Sorry I didn't make it.   The wife and I went there a couple of years ago after the Iowa rally and loved it.  We were on the road in June and planned to go but she took ill.  She is doing better.  Hopefully we'll make it next year.

Does that sign say Moto Gurzi or am I just reading it wrong?

That gurzi script is copied from the shirts the guzzi factory race riders wore in the 50s.

Finally arrived home in Indiana.  Spent two extra days in Grand Marais after the Rally ended.  I had to give up, definitely can not eat all the fish they can catch.

Had a great time.  Glad I had my warm clothes along.  Must remember to do the same if the rally is up there next year.

Kudos to the organizers.  Not an easy job but you did it very well.

Ride safe and hope to see you down the road.

I always knew I'd get old.  How fast it happened was a bit of a surprise, though.

Thanks again, John!!
I headed to Thunder Bay Saturday night and only saw one more Moose along the way.. Luckily it stayed in the ditch where it was standing..

The next day I rode to Sault Ste. Marie, and from there I headed over to North Bay to get a Grand Tour photo.. Along the way a certain Guzzi popped out of a gas station as I passed.. CLAUS I yelled!!!!  :thumb: We ended up riding together for about 70 miles until I saw an Indian reservation sign, also needed for my Grand Tour.. http://www.teamstrange.com/2015/whispering_giants/index.htm

And from there I wandered down through Buffalo and crossed back into the States at the Peace Bridge, to gather more GT's.. I was headed to Lansing, MI but found out the Giant had been removed, so while in Akron at noon, I saw no reason not to ride down to Vincennes, IN for the Giant there..

The next day I wandered up the IL river to get 3 more Giants (well, two, and one sign due to a closed park due to flooding)  before heading back home.. Nice little 3000 mile wander..

Hope to see everyone at Lake Joy in a couple weeks!!!

You've been traveling!  I was under the Peace bridge last weekend visiting the GM Tonawanda plant.   :thumb:
