Honorable mention. The Sunbeam Alpine in Dr. No. https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/best-cars/88621/sunbeam-alpine-dr-no-1962
I have enjoyed them all...but THIS is my all time favorite!! Now, only available for the "Rich & Famous...."
I always thought that the Sunbeam was a Tiger, which had a V8 and was very competitive.k
The Tiger had Ford V8. I think a 260 to start then a 289. I may be wrong on this though. The Alpine had a four cylinder.kk
No Tiger in ‘62. I had an Alpine in ‘65. MGBs would outrun me but at least it was faster than a Sprite.Pete
The poor little "Bug-Eyed" SPRITE...small...ti ght...unloved...und er-powered...but still a classic!
This is my favorite Bond Car... I think it was in Octopussy. Not that this is the best car he ever drove, but I had one and loved it ! (user name might be a clue)
I am only the most casual Bond fan, but I did see they just auctioned off the Omega Seamaster 300 watch that Daniel Craig wore in the latest movie for $225,000.00! And an Omega AquaTerra that he wore in a previous Bond film for $125,000
I have a 1965 Breitling Navitimer 806 featured in Thunderball though not worn by Connery. Paid 150 bucks for it new in Hong Kong. Guess its worth more today even broken. It was my main watch for twenty years but failed three times. I guess it wasn’t made for cross country motorcycle trips. Last repair estimate was 400 bucks. I said no thanks. If I wear a watch, rare these days, its a 100 dollar Seiko that keeps near perfect time.Pete
