I hope to be on a Guzzi next time. I changed the rear tire on the V11 Sport and mission creep appeared. Flushing, cleaning, and lubing whatever I can reach now.  So, Kaw it is.  Grab.

Been a while since I contributed. Thought I'd give it a go.

Little late 20th century style bicycle repair shop. No retail. And Rockwellian in the amount of traffic, from kids on Coasters to a 93 Merlin titanium with Full Dura Ace groupo in the very tiny shop. Only hung his shingle 18 months ago, transplant from Western PA

New Tag: specialty/focus repair shop. Preferably featuring combustion engines. This is an air cooled VW shop nearbye. They needn't bother with a sign, as you can see. If you're on facebook, they're worth a like/follow for the moto porn on near BAT level, Buggy Works Inc Indianapolis IN. Website by the same name for the facebook averse.

Do they do machine work? I have a couple of heads that need dual plugging and boring for big jugs. If I could (cough cough) pay someone to do it, I wouldn't have to, and I could continue with my little airplane project.

I must admit I had forgotten that "famous" part of the previous tag, but here's a statue of someone who's A) famous locally, having a street, a play and a restaurant named after him, and not only B) Italian, but C) whose parents both came from the Lago di Como area. Looked around, and these Enfields are not your dad's Enfield. *Very* good quality and attention to detail, Harris chassis, but still has a long stroke single that I've always loved. It's kind of like a trip back to the 50s and I'm really enjoying it.
It is also the complete opposite to the Mighty Scura. Top speed is about 72.  :grin:
Oh, they nailed the styling, too. I like looking at it. <shrug> Cheap, too. (Guzzi content) What's not to like?
