Great thread and great to see all the community support.

I live just south of DC near the dealer in Arlington but as luck would have it I am currently in Colorado springs for work till the 27th.

Bill Hagen is another generous cuz he community member and is at the top of Virginia just off i-81. I'll monitor this thread so if you have any further issues drop a note or send me a PM I'll put you in touch with him.

There's also a decent Guzzi dealer in Richmond if needed..

Jim will probably give an update at some point. He called me yesterday afternoon and was on the side of the road again. The rear break was binding snd had heated up sufficiently. The only thing I could figure was possibly an ABS issue. I recommended he disable the ABS system and see if that would release the break pressure. Jim got back with me a little later and confirmed that it did fix the issue and that he was off again on his adventure. I tell ya, this guy has no fear of the unknown and the patients of Job👍

I mentioned this in my other topic, but I tried riding with the ABS on and all seems fine now. Fingers crossed.

Possibly the pegs that the caliper slides on have never seen grease.
Make sure the pedal is coming back to it’s stop.
Undo the two 13 mm caliper retaining bolts, lift the caliper of and WITHOUT OVERFLOWING THE RESERVOIR, prise the pads apart with a suitable tool, to make sure the piston is free to move and pumps back with the pedal.
