Blue Dash Connector o teh V7's
« on: January 06, 2020, 12:56:33 PM »
Do someone know what this Bluedash connector which seems to sleep in the harness of out v7's.
Looking at the lay-out of this connector it would be probably a good base start with to install an extra original Guzzi tacho.
One has experience in this field?
Are there specialist amongst us who just know what it was ment for and do people use it?
If it is not used then using it as a base for a tacho connector could be an idea.

Bluedash has Can bus signals. Not for your easy analogue readout

The lay-out of the electrical sheme of the V7 Guzzi Special(has a tacho) there are 5 wires that are connected ans that is it.
Two of them are the CAN Hi and CAN LO signals and 1 x time 5amp connection and 1 x time 15 A connection and a mass connection.
Why the can hi and lo from the Bluedash (Bluethoot Dashbord) can not be connected to a extra tacho for the limited edition?
An original tacho from Guzzi of course needs those signals. I am puzzled.
Can someone explain this deeper.

Thanks

Marcel

When you have a tacho that understands can bus, Most seperate tacho's just need a puls signal what can bus isn't. For getting such a tacho to work are other ways.
