A reminder of Luap's rules
« on: October 16, 2017, 11:45:54 AM »
Fellas , I get it , people are all heated up at the moment , but there is NO room for political discussion on Wild Guzzi . We all agreed to the rules when we signed up , so please remember that simple fact , OK ?

Well, while the idea of [Luap] and Dusty holding the reins of the country seems pretty good to me, I need to spend some time thinking about

a) seeking a cabinet position in that administration, and which one it would be - or ....

b) creating the opposition party and acting as the puppeteer behind the scenes

I suspect the former would pay better and the latter would be more fun.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Here is the thing fellas , if you could hear some of the *private* discussions between the 5 people who try to keep this place from becoming a free for all , you might be shocked . Literally every political bent you can imagine is represented , it can be truly amusing , and at times maybe even contentious , although we are all friends so usually it is just a bunch of humorous nonsense . However , Luap has made it clear to both Rocker and me that we are to not allow any political discussion on the board , and considering that everyone one of us are at his mercy , you can see why that might be important . Can't make it any simpler than that , do we all agree ? OK , that is a rhetorical question , because of course we all agree .

Paul , WG was designed to be a safe zone , no one is forcing anyone to stay , only play by Luap's rules .

:1: agree. sometime without meaning to, we joke, but someone is offended (I've done it myself)
best solution, is what Luap and the mods go by. just say no

Thanks for keeping the political BS out of this excellent website!

There is so much political discord these days I kinda miss the cold war when we could all just hate the Ruskies instead of each other on this side of the world.

Think this thru John . The point is that YOU didn't find it funny , and others might not find your sense of humor funny . Make sense now ? This is why we don't allow for political discussion on WG .

Is discussing H-D bikes and all related "biker" things close to discussing politics?

I set it up like that on purpose. That way every view point is heard and acknowledged.  Only people who intend to fail surround themselves with people who view their exact beliefs. It allows for no room to grow as a person that way. :thumb:  Diversity encourages open-mindedness.

It is so nice to have that rule here, a refuge from all that crap. many thanks indeed.

↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑ That right there. That's why we do it this way.  Political BS is all over the web, on other free or paid sites. You're welcome to go to one of them, get all riled up and then come back here to settle down
