Title: Resetting ABS
Post by: Kiwi_Roy on July 30, 2021, 03:14:02 PM
How would one go about reseting the ABS on a 2014 California?
It's had the fluid changed.

Thanks
Roy

You do have air in the system?

If normal bleeding doesn't solve it, there is an option in PADS the dealer can use to get air out. We will be supplying a version of Guzzidiag that can do it but I have no timeline for you. So if needed up to your dealer.

Is the light on? Setting codes?   You could try disconnecting battery, jumpering positive and negative cables together for 30 seconds. This should discharge all capacitors, hopefully clear any soft codes, and "reset" system.

Update.
We have a Guzzidiag fault indicating bad rear speed sensor, the owner will proceed in that direction.
