IMHO, trashing an 850 Lemans should net the guy 'life before a firing squad'.

I am by no means an engineer, but looking at the missing lower frame rails on this bike, makes me cringe. The Tonti frame, In its original form, is a very competent design.

"Customizing" the frame, just to have a "suspended " engine does not make sense to me, but this entire concept leaves me cold.

I do like the look of both of them, especially the Patton.

I don't like either. Strip the bodywork off of a carbie sport, wrap what's left in carbon fiber vinyl decals, add patton stickers and an emgo headlight and that gets you a $35,000 special ? Blech.  There's not much lemans left on the other bike. Woulda been better off starting with an 850 T.

It makes me cringe far less than anything OCC has put on the street. Believe me if done correctly that big crankcase lump has more than enough strength to eliminate the lower rails especially considering the low power and skinny tires.

But the Patton bike "was in dysplay on a shoowroom in Miami." You can't put a price on that.
Then again, when I was watching Predator I didn't think two members of its cast would become governors, either. So you never know.

I respectfully disagree.   OCC is building their monstrosities from new parts and raw materials, not bastardizing an 850 Le Mans, and an 1100 Sport, both of which are somewhat rare, and certainly not being made any more.
