Rear tire question on 1200 sport
« on: April 15, 2015, 05:18:51 PM »
When I bought my 1200 Sport in Nov. 2013, the former owner installed a ContiMotion M on the rear. 5800 miles later I need a new rear tire. I never liked the Conti and since then I replaced the front with a Michelin Pilot Road.

I would like a slightly quicker handling from the rear tire and was considering a Mich Pilot Road 4. The dealer said a Metzler might make it handle quicker. Not sure which Metzler model.

I have a 180/55 17 on there now. Can I go to a 160? Anyone have any experience with either of these tires or the 1200 Sport? Your thoughts...
