« on: March 31, 2016, 06:11:25 AM »
I am trying to post pictures and photo bucket says I might have problems if I have ad blocker. Is this true?

I use Firefox with an ad blocker and haven't had any problems using Photobucket.

sounds like there are saying you must take our ads if you want our service.. I would go elsewhere..
It's not just photobucket ads you'll be letting in, they will leave cookies and other stuff behind on your hard drive so you can be tracked and targeted.

I quit Photobucket. I know, what do you want for free? But still. Their ads and tracking just became too much for me. Most of the time, when the computer was running wonky I could close Photobucket and it would clear up. I'm currently happy with Flickr, but it may not be long for this world since it is a Yahoo thing.

I also use an ad blocker and have no trouble with Photobucket.  I've seen a lot of sites that warn that I may have trouble if I use an ad blocker, but there is no problem.  Obviously they want use to view the ads, since they get paid when we do.

Lately, if I have photobucket open my computer slows to a crawl.  I'm looking for alternatives also.

Yep. They've gone over the top as far as I'm concerned.
