Meet My New V85tt
« on: May 25, 2023, 09:36:37 PM »
So I swapped out my beloved V7 Special for a V85tt and took the Travel for its first 200 miler today.  Here are some notes and photos of the first adventure: a cruise along a portion of Northern California's Pacific Coast Highway.  Glorious day it was! https://thechurchoftheopenroad.blogspot.com/2023/05/make-way-for-duckling.html

That looks like a great adventure.  I look forward to reading your story during a free moment today.  Enjoy the new bike.

Enjoy the new bike! I really enjoyed my V7 III but find the V85TT better in every way except seat height (which really isn't a problem - just took some adjustment). Very nice story - thanks for putting that together.

Get one of those Amazon adjustable wind deflectors to help bring the air higher when wanted.

Great write up, Bumpa. Glad to hear that you’ve recovered, and are back on the horse - and a handsome one at that! Petaluma to Monte Rio, out River Road, up 1 to Stewart’s Point for lunch, and back via Annapolis Rd. / Skaggs Springs is one of my go-to rides when I have time - either on my V85 or V7 850. Seems that roads in Sonoma, Marin and the surrounding areas were made for travel by Guzzi!

Reach out if you’d like to venture out with a fellow So. Co. Guzzista. I should have a fair amount of free time during the month of July.

Cheers

Matt
