"Ed's Red" (ATF + Acetone) has freed up a ton of stuck tractor and truck engines over the decades. Good that he only had to wait a couple days. The really stuck engines take weeks or months!

Ah, the resiliency of youth.
I can see the reason for doing it, but I'm not sure I'd take that project on. For sure, I can't see anything good about wanting to run it in the condition it's in, but maybe he just wants some payback.
