Something did just occur to me, however, anyone here actually have some miles on a scrambler type bike?  Even with heat shields wouldn't that exhaust eventually get a little warm being so close to your leg?

When I sat on one I thought the sheild would bug me, but then I put some miles on a demo and never noticed it. I was having too much fun. Temps were in the 60's.

Thanks for the word, Matteo.  Seems like there are a number of Triumph Scrambler owners who mumble about theirs but many more who say it's no issue at all, especially with an Arrow setup.  And too, I guess when I look at pictures of both bikes it seems like the Guzzi system is certainly lower and also maybe a little more tucked away

Also, I'd seen a number of photos such as this (that was at EICMA, I believe) where the V7 is featured with a solo seat; however, I don't see it as an option under any of the Stornello accessories.

I like the Stornello.

I'll be glad when Guzzi puts the V9 motor in all the small block bikes.

The valve covers of the V9 look better too.

Nice to see a scrambler actually scramblin'!  :thumb:  Where's the Ducati?  Back on the road, you said?

Gorgeous.  And as I said earlier, I don't even tend to like scrambler style bikes in general.  Bet that Arrow sounds nice.

Saw this on Cycletrader.com: http://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/Kustom-Workz-3015270/listing/2016-Moto-Guzzi-V7II-Stornello-117819755

Do you think that it will depreciate like most of the newer V7 bikes, or will it retain a higher dollar value?

I thought that there was a reasonable chance that Moto Guzzi would offer a more powerful engine for 2016. I purchased a v7 II anyway, but I'm not holding my breath on depreciation, and I have a lot of trouble seeing the value in the kits.

That said, I also have trouble seeing the value in the Ducati Scrambler kits.

In both cases, it isn't obvious to me that you'll get more than about 20 cents on the dollar on resale.

What lights are those?  Did the mounting bracket that came with the lights just happen to work on the fender mount?

MondoMotos MM10 with Amber lenses.

No, they just come with a simple bracket.  I made the bracket that attaches to the fender mount.  Not simple - very little room, recessed upper hole, etc.  Took 4 tries before I could make it work.  But I greatly prefer this location.

Was much easier on the Racer.

I should also mention what did not work.  Mike, I think I saw in your thread mentioning trying to raise the bars.

I installed 2" Rox Risers to lift up the bars.  The clutch and the wiring would work with some heavy rerouting, but the brake line was too short.  Nothing to be done there other than replace the line, and I didn't want to get in to that with a brand new bike with ABS.  Poo.
