Title: Request - photos of Custom/Alternate Tonti Rear M/C Mounting
Post by: 1down5up on October 14, 2022, 03:18:50 PM
All.

Currently in the process of building up a bike where the frame has had all its brackets cut off (not by me......)

Looking for some ideas/solution for the rear break as the normal mount is gone - if I can avoid welding onto to the frame that would be preferable.

I am thinking a plate mounted off the 2 lower frame bolts that hold the rearsets on, and using one of the smaller push style Brembo M/C's.

Below is a photo( not mine) of one I found online - any other suggestions?

I have seen a few different styles on google but the photos aren't always great and some look very clunky

Any one have any photos of what they have done on there bike as "inspiration"

I agree, the Brake cylinder should be mounted on a plate.

Thanks John - that looks quite good, did you do that or was it on the bike when you got it?

Don't suppose you have any additional photos of the plate its self?
