Today's Adventures and Ride Report
« on: April 02, 2016, 09:35:20 PM »
First picked up my new ride :thumb:

Saw a cool RAT bike

Custom hi output e-lectrical system

Then I ran over to the Piney River Brewing Co. where "the Hamburger cows" were playing. Pretty big band (they're known in 4 or 5 counties)

Had a nice Black Walnut Ale :boozing:

Clowned around in Huston, Mo. a little

Made a little stop in Mark Twain natl Forest

Mo. 14 & White River

And Vera Cruz, Mo.

About a 290 mile day, Not Bad <SHRUG> (one for the Chuckster)

Nope "Weary Willy's" Bust is in the Missouri state capitol building's rotunda. He's a Missouri boy born and bred. (he lived in Sedan, Ks. some)

I think the folks in Sedan might disagree , but since he has been gone for years ... Just don't start claiming Will is a native and we'll be alright

Well, they can argue with Wikipedia. Me and the old boy at the museum in Sedan had a conversation about that last time I was there.

From Wikipedia

Kelly's boyhood town of Houston, Missouri, named Emmett Kelly Park in his honor and used to host an annual Emmett Kelly Clown Festival, which attracted clowns from across the region including Kelly's grandson, Joey Kelly, who returned every year to perform as a special guest. According to Joey Kelly's website, the Emmett Kelly Festival in Houston, Mo ended its 21-year run in May 2008.[3]

The Emmett Kelly Museum is located in Sedan, Kansas

John can give you good directions to get there. But make sure to double check his instructions to get back out.
